Meet The New York-Based Up-And-Coming Israeli Musician, Tesha
When it comes to Israeli artists, a hidden gem was found all the way in New York. Singer and songwriter Tesha is a new and upcoming artist with a soft electronic sound. She just released a new single this month called ‘So Alive.’ To get a better idea of who she is, The Culture Trip got the inside scoop in an interview with Tesha.
What is your dream project?
Me, Clams Casino, MGMT, Airhead, Arca, Lapalux, Nicolas Jaar, and Max Cooper all working on one song/album followed by a circus tour.
How would you describe your music at this point in your career?
Dream vomit!
What is the most memorable moment in your career?
When I was told I wasn’t good enough, it was the best day of my life.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Hyperactivity, no focus, no boundaries. Sometimes it can be a good thing; sometimes it can be a pet peeve.
What advice would you give someone who is trying to get into the business?
Get an agent and they will give you the best advice.
When you were a child and someone asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up, what was your answer?
A musician.
What is the first thing you do in the morning?
Go back to sleep.
If you could bring three things to a desert island with you, what would they be?
A plane.
