The Dead Sea has long been a main attraction for tourists and Israelis alike while touring Israel. Officially the lowest level on dry land and the saltiest body of water in the world, the Dead Sea continues to amaze and delight first-timers. Whether you enjoy floating on the salty sea or caking yourself in the thick mineral-rich mud, the Dead Sea is a must-see attraction. Hugh Gordon, an Irish photographer, brings us these wonderful images of the Dead Sea. Now living and working in Tel Aviv, he is part of the local startup scene but in a past life he was a news and documentary photographer covering politics, conflict and social issues in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
