Brunching at La Lucciola is a treat – the good view and delicious food makes it the perfect place to relax. The restaurant, a large two-storey, open-air hut, is perched on the edge of the Seminyak Beach. Try sitting upstairs for a cooling breeze and ordering a fruit juice and an avocado frittata or a dessert platter. This is a popular spot among the Kuta crowd because of its ideal beach location. After treating yourself to a meal here, you can head over to one of their sun loungers to take in the gorgeous Balinese sights.

The Porch delights the tastebuds with its unique combinations of sweet and savory. From artistic lattes to smooth espressos, there’s plenty of wonderful top-quality options to choose from. The owners use an Indonesian single-origin coffee blend but they go beyond that. They complement their coffee options with delicious, traditional Indonesian food. Dig into a sushi-roll gado-gado style or kick back with a blended juice or an ice-cold beer. Their breakfast is incredibly popular so expect to queue on arrival.

Watercress is an upscale village cafe serving an all-day rustic breakfast. Their delicious breakfast is bursting with color and flavor, which they claim was inspired by the island’s beauty. Here, diners can dig into some chunky avocado salsa, homemade chili jam, poached eggs and sour cream and grilled bacon. The Warung is a stunning hotel restaurant that offers an extensive traditional Indonesian and Balinese menu for brunch. Indulge in the highly recommended papaya salads, a satay (grilled meat on sticks) with 12 different styles of sambal (sauces) or a delicious grilled mushroom in a banana leaf.
