Who isn’t dreaming of a trip to Bali at this time of year? The Indonesian province is one of the ultimate bucket list destinations for many travellers, and has garnered a reputation as the perfect place for a relaxing escape. Our Local Insider Tini talks to us about why you should book a trip to blow away the 2023 blues.

Find out what one of our recent Culture Trippers thought of her time in Bali to see if this is the right trip for you.

“I’m very proud that I get to work with Culture Trip and meet different people from different countries”, Tini explains enthusiastically when we catch up with her on video call. “I can introduce my culture but I can also learn more from the guests too. I feel like a friend and even like family when I’m with them.”

Tini is dialling in from Bali, and even though we had a few tech issues on the call, the excitement to meet new people and share experiences with them is evident.

Our Blissful Bali itinerary is a great mix of fun activities and pure relaxation. There are many highlights over the 12-day schedule, and when pushed Tini says its the cultural elements she enjoys the most. “I’m happy to go the extra mile if someone wants to spend more time with locals. Last time I took a group to a market and we spent time there, that wasn’t initially part of the schedule that day, but it’s what we wanted to do as a group. So we did it.”

The group travel environment is one that Tini feels works really well in terms of interacting and supporting the local community. People tend to be more open to trying things like street food.

“Bali is a beautiful island which is in harmony with the environment. People are friendly and warm, and that’s why you should visit Bali!”

Molly seems to have blagged herself a personal invite to Bali by the end of the call, and you can join her too. We have a number of departures throughout the year, so why not plan your next trip right now?
