About Your Trip

This once-in-a-lifetime adventure starts in the thrumming Indian capital of Delhi, where you’ll explore the ancient walled core of Shahjahanabad by bicycle. Then it’s off to Agra, home to the monumental Taj Mahal, which you’ll visit at sunrise – the most peaceful time of day. Jaipur, Rajasthan’s largest city, is next – via the Unesco World Heritage-listed town of Fatehpur Sikri. The next day, you’ll take a jeep ride to the breathtaking Amer Fort, in the forested hills north of Jaipur. Rohet is next, on the edge of the Thar Desert, where you’ll embark on a jeep safari to visit Bishnoi villages, and then onto a city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. From Rohet it’s cross country to the scenic village of Narlai, before driving on to Udaipur – where this trip wraps up, after a visit to the Jain temple at Ranakpur. All of our trips are flightless in destination, with 100% of all carbon emissions offset. It's just part of how we see the world while being good to it.

        From our current customers
Culture Trip exceeded all my expectations for my trip to Egypt. The itinerary was a perfect combination of historical sites and cultural events - you truly get a feel of how the people live and the diversity of the culture and history. Each day had exciting activities that perfectly fit with each region of the country, and I was blessed to share this experience with 5 individuals who started as strangers and ended as good friends.

My first ever out-of-the-United States international trip, to Iceland with Culture Trip, was the best organized itinerary. Even with Iceland's weather being a bit unpredictable, and with only one slight change in plans, our small intimate group of ladies made the trip an experience I will never forget. Snowmobiling on a glacier, chasing waterfalls, feeling and seeing the black beach, eating geothermal rye bread, bathing in a geothermal hot tub, and ending the trip with the Blue Lagoon was exciting and breathtaking.

I was skeptical about signing up for a tour. I usually think tours were things my parents and grandparents going on tours and I usually plan my own trip. After our wedding, though, we didn't want to plan anything. Culture Trip changed our perception of tours. The group was younger and the activities were things I might have planned myself. There was a good mix of tourist attractions, off-the-beaten-path locations and varied activities. Our guide was amazing and added color at every step along the way. We are already thinking about which tour we'll do next.

This was the first time we booked a tour and it was incredible. Culture Trip put together a very diverse itinerary which included biking, hiking, (tourist) boat ride, (local) ferry ride, tram ride, (local) bus ride. Small group made for quick and easy transfers. Our Local Insider/Tour guide was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Our next adventure will be with Culture Trip!
        Karen (US)
The trip through Colorado and Utah was incredible! It was a brilliant whistle stop tour of all the highlights of the area, and was a perfect blend of adventure, road tripping and relaxing. What really made it was our local insider, Lana. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, tips and flexibility made it so that you could relax to enjoy the whole trip. It was a great way to travel and I would recommend!

The Iceland trip was Magical! The excursions were fun and adventurous. Snowmobiling on the glacier was like being on top of the world, the waterfalls are amazing and the food is delicious! This was a once in a lifetime trip that checked all the boxes. If you are looking for adventure this is the trip for you. I recommend going a few days early and hanging out in Reykjavik. It is a lovely and friendly city!

I don’t normally “do” tours so was dubious but the expertise of the local expert (& his back up at base) combined with the range of the itinerary really impressed me. I really went for the food element but the locations visited were spectacular and, as an independent traveler,I know it would have taken me weeks to cover a visit as varied as this.

Egypt was the trip of a lifetime! Wonderful experience!

The Culture Trip Greece tour was really amazing. [...] Our tour guide [...] was the most amazing tour guide I've had [...] She always made sure we were taken care of, that we had ideas for restaurants to try, or places to explore. [...] Overall a great trip with a really great and energetic group.

Excellent Trip! Walter was an excellent guide. I loved what I did and saw in Portugal! Thank you!!
        Kathleen (US)
Our Local guide was phenomenal and made us feel like we were traveling on the 'inside' while making sure all of our travel plans were taken care of. I now can't imagine traveling without this type of experience.

Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar (or similar)

This stylish five-star hotel, on the fringes of the city centre, ticks all the high-end boxes. There’s a large infinity pool on the roof, encircled by lush planting and overlooking the Delhi skyline. There are four bars and restaurants, a spa, and sleek monochromatic rooms with large flat-screen TVs.

        Crystal Sarovar Premiere (or similar)

This hotel knows you’re in Agra for the Taj Mahal – so the whole of its north-facing flank offers panoramic views of the sight. That includes from its contemporary yet richly decorated rooms (think wine-reds, dark woods and golds), its rooftop pool, and Sky Grill restaurant.

        Mandawa Haveli (or similar)

This restored historical haveli (a traditional manor house) is right in the centre of Jaipur – just 10 minutes from the City Palace. Its 70 rooms are all slightly different, but follow a theme of heritage-meets-modern, with hand-carved wooden beds and vintage family photos on the walls, as well as air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities.

        Rohet Garh (or similar)

This is an exquisite heritage hotel, kept in the same family since the 17th century. Think immaculately tended gardens with vintage-style lawn furniture, marble-floored rooms and suites, and a central courtyard pool surrounded by arched walkways with lantern-lit seating areas. Magical is the word.

Rawla Narlai Luxury Heritage Hotel (or similar)

Right at the foot of Narlai’s unmissable Elephant Hill, this boutique period hotel has gorgeous interiors – all eggshell white with splashes of colour – and beautifully landscaped gardens. There are terraces overlooking the twinkling village lights, and tree-shaded courtyards for sipping tea and snoozing.

        Udai Kothi (or similar)

Each of the suites in this hotel is like a treasure box of ornate details. From the boldly patterned fabrics spun into curtains, window seat cushions and the canopies for four-poster beds, to the antique writing desks nestled in the corner, or the gold-edged marble cladding – you’ll never want to leave.
