With more than 60 years of history, Si Yik is one of the most authentic dai pai dong in the Southern District. Everything from its set-up to its menu is as traditional as you can get. The food stall is best known for its Hong Kong-style milk-tea as well as its toast and sandwiches, in particular their French toast with kaya sauce and pineapple bun with satay beef. However, with less than 40 seats available, expect to wait for Hong Kong’s classic dai pai dong.

Other than delicious home-made patties, “The Hawaiian” also comes with an incredibly juicy and sweet pineapple that’s sure to get the taste buds going. Meanwhile, the “Holy Cow” contains two patties and is a double-sized burger.
