The World's Most Luxurious Super Yacht is Also a Private Submarine
It may look like something out of a James Bond movie, but the ‘Migaloo’ means business – it can be transformed into a military-grade submarine, transporting you to an amazing underwater world when you want to escape life above water.
The Migaloo is sure to be the most sought-after toy of the super rich, complete with helipad, your very own cinema, rooftop pool and huge VIP guest suites. Plus, at the touch of a button, the entire boat will submerge, diving to a maximum depth of 240 metres.
The Austrian-based company, Migaloo Private Submersive Yachts, has designed various concept models, ranging from the M2 – a 72m yacht – to the M7, which is the world’s largest submersible super yacht design, capable of sumberging to an incredible 283m.
The larger models can be customised to contain facilities that would rival any major hotel, with options including a jacuzzi, gym, spa, theatre room, games room, cellar, library, several bars, beach clubs, and even a ‘wet garage’ for two mini submarines.
While many can only dream of owning the Migaloo, those lucky enough to purchase one will be able to create their own bespoke design, tailoring it to suit their needs and interior style.
Always fancied your very own private island instead? Migaloo Private Submersive Yachts has also designed floating islands that will also be completely submerged under water, retreating back to the sea bed when you want to be out of sight.
The ‘Kokomo Ailand’ includes an 80-metre-high penthouse suite with panoramic views, the obligatory helipad, naturally, and even waterfalls.
