The Sant Jordi Flea Market takes place every Saturday morning from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. and is essentially a large car boot sale, selling everything from second hand clothes, jewelry, and toys, to books, bric-a-brac, and furniture, as well as new items such as crafts and handmade rugs. Inevitably there is a lot of random junk for sale, but it’s worth sifting through the endless piles and rails, as there are always bargains to be found. The layout is fairly chaotic, but if you get there early you’ll have plenty of time to get in the swing of it before the experienced treasure hunters snaffle the best bargains.

In a quiet street off Santa Eulalia’s main drag is Vintage Icons & Echoes, an excellent vintage store selling second hand designer clothing, flamboyant gowns, wigs, and other accessories, as well as all kinds of retro knickknacks. Despite looking like a slightly shabby, hippie, market-style shop from the outside, Vicente Ganesha is the place to go to buy vintage clothes, jewelry, and sunglasses. Passing by the colorful kaftans and scarfs out front, the shop inside is a vintage-lovers paradise (with a heavy emphasis on ’60s and ’70s gear). Packed with goodies, and popular with the likes of Kate Moss and Jade Jagger, this shop has been around for a long time, and the owner, Vicente Hernandez, is a bit of a legend in Ibiza. He travels the world scouring markets for items to sell in his store, and also stocks his own designs which he has made in India.
