Luk Yu Tong’s decor is a fusion of Lingnan and Colonialist styles and retains its charm from the 1930s when it first opened. This cha chaan teng(teahouse) sells dim sum that is hard to find in other teahouses, like the honey egg bomb or the stuffed fish maw. Other notable favourites include the stir-fried noodles with sliced beef and fried prawns on toast. Dishes are presented like artworks, and the ingredients are top-notch. This place is packed from morning through lunch, but if you come after 2pm, you may be able to hustle a table without having to wait too long.

Braza Churrascaria

Braza Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse has brought succulent rodizio-style meat to a new audience in Hong Kong. Rodizio is an all-you-can-eat style of restaurant service commonly found in Brazil. Arrive with an empty stomach, and watch in wonder as generous tender cuts of beef are brought to your table and carved in front of you. It’s not just steak that’s on offer though – pork, chicken, seafood and a full salad bar with cured cold cuts, smoked salmon, fresh veggies and other sides are at your disposal. Once you’re full, let a member of the waitstaff know; otherwise, they will simply keep bringing you delicious things to try! Not ideal for small appetites or vegetarians, Braza Churrascaria is a popular choice for groups dining out in Lan Kwai Fong thanks to its impeccable quality and affordable price.
