Take a Tour of Green Acres Eco Farm in Malaysia

The slow food movement is becoming ever more popular, and Green Acres Eco Farm is pioneering the practice in Malaysia. Photographer Natasha Lee visited the farm’s owners Eric and Kim Chong to see how their sustainable venture works.

Green Acres Eco Farm is set in 16 acres (6.5 hectares) of rolling countryside, in Balik Pilau, Malaysia. Chemical-free since the 1960s, the farm is a haven for those seeking the strong-smelling delicacy, durian fruit. Central to the farm’s ethos are its semi-solar-powered eco lodges that welcome guests, allowing them to become part of their sustainable way of life.
