The 2018 FIFA World Cup has begun and football fans all over the world are following their nations compete for the final prize. Denmark’s national team will make its fifth appearance at FIFA in Russia this year so, big screens are already set at different places and sports bars all over the country. If you want to watch the World Cup with a cold Danish beer in your hand surrounded by Danish football devotees, make sure to check out these places in Copenhagen.

For Denmark’s first 2018 FIFA game against Peru, Telia Parken, the National Stadium of Denmark will set up a huge HD screen inviting 26,000 football fans to watch the match. The stadium’s seats can fit 6,000 guests while the rest are invited to bring their blankets and make themselves comfortable on the lawn. The event is free and the doors will open at 2pm.

Bremen Teater in Vesterbro will screen all three Denmark matches during the World Cup 2018 and without an admission fee. So, if you want to see Denmark playing against Peru (16.06), Australia (21.06) or France (26.06) in the historic theatre’s hall, make sure to book a seat in advance.

Tivoli Gardens

Tivoli Gardens will show 21 matches during the World Cup, including Denmark’s match against Australia. A 30-square-metre screen will be set on the open-air stage to broadcast the football matches from TV2. Even though the 10,000 free tickets that Copenhagen’s amusement park offered are now sold out, you can still watch the game in the majestic gardens by paying the Tivoli’s admission fee.
