Peggy’s Point Lighthouse

The lighthouse at Peggy’s Cove isn’t just the most popular lighthouse in Nova Scotia, it’s also one of the most popular in all of Canada. Set along the rocky shore of this quaint fishing village, a visit to this spot should be on the top of everyone’s list when visiting the province.

Fort Point Lighthouse

Fort Point looks more like an actual home than the typical tower-like lighthouse, and is a rare example of pre-Confederations lighthouses. Located in Liverpool on the South Shore, the property is open year round to the public.

Brier Island Lighthouse

This iconic lighthouse marks the beginning of the Bay of Fundy and is still operational today. Its red-and-white striped exterior set against the beautiful Bay of Fundy makes for the perfect photo op!

Masstown Market Lighthouse

This spot is more than just a day trip – you can actually spend your whole vacation here! Next to the lighthouse, you’ll find both a restaurant and a guest house, which is the converted LightKeeper’s residence. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a proper Maritime vacation.
