With fresh roses available year round and a growing wedding and event market, florists in Marrakech are popping up to meet the demand. Whether you’re looking for a fresh bouquet for your home or a loved one, or an elegant arrangement in the season’s hottest colors for your fabulous event, the florists at work in the Red City are here to meet clients’ demands – and often exceed them! We’ve rounded up our favorite florists in Marrakech.

1. Yassab Floral Design

Shop

Recently opened just inside the entrance to the Radisson Blu Hotel in Gueliz, Yassab is the go-to place for trendy floral designs, bouquets, event and hotel arrangements. Parisian florist Sabrina is quickly establishing herself as the wedding florist, creating beautiful floral arches, bridal bouquets and corsages, as well as gorgeous table arrangements. Stop by the shop for a fresh bunch flowers and other little goodies that are perfect for a hostess gift!

2. La Kiosque à Fleurs

Shop, Spa

Located inside La Mamounia Palace Hôtel, La Kiosque à Fleurs is ideal for bridal bouquets, wedding decor and table arrangements, but also for international imports. Fine orchids and colorful, high-quality roses and even hydrangea are among the carefully selected flowers. A wander through the hotel will provide samples of florist Catherine Villier’s work, owner of this boutique flower shop inside this iconic hotel.

3. Vita Art Florat

Store

One of the few florists accepting online orders for delivery, Vita Maroc is a Moroccan chain with shops throughout the Kingdom – including Casablanca, Rabat, and Agadir. Vita Art Florat, their Marrakech store, is located in the neighborhood of Gueliz. More than just a florist, Vita Maroc is active in the agricultural sector, as well providing seeds and fertilizers, and working with farmers on research and development in this vast and ever so important industry in Morocco.

4. Roses at Marché Centrale

Market

The local flower market – part of the Marché Centrale behind the Marrakech Plaza – is the best place for local floral options at relatively inexpensive prices. The stalls line the streets with their fresh selections in tin cans, where shoppers can pick exactly what they want and pay per piece, or select a pre-arranged bouquet. With roses a local specialty, there is no shortage of selection at the local flower market. Be prepared to bargain though, with prices increasing over New Year and Valentine’s Day as demand soars.
