Staying in a riad is a quintessential experience in Morocco. Traditional homes from times gone by, riads are typically found in the old medinas of the country’s cities. As old Agadir, along with its riads, souks, and other historic buildings, was completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1960, finding an authentic riad in Agadir is a challenge. There are, however, some newer accommodations in Agadir that have been constructed to closely resemble grand properties from the past. There are also several genuine riads within fairly close proximity to the city. Here are some of the best riads in and around Agadir for your next visit to the popular seaside city.
