Pizza Mia is one of last true hidden gems in Cairo’s Zamalek with its warm and homely interior and fantastic Italian cuisine with a twist. The menu ranges from typically Italian starters, such as a Tuscan appetizer platter or mixed bruschetta to classic pizzas and pasta dishes as mains. The pizza margherita, served with tomatoes, cheese and fresh basil is simple but simply delicious. Due to its very small interior, Pizza Mia is not the ideal place for an elaborate dinner, but it is perfect for lunch or a quick break in the afternoon. Pizza Mia also offers all their pizzas as takeaways and they deliver as well.

Di Napoli, with two branches in Cairo, serves some of the best and biggest pizzas in the city. Their menu features all the classics, like margherita, proscuitto or funghi, but guests also have the option of adding extra vegetables or sauces to personalize their pizzas. The absolute must have is the family pizza that measures about half a meter, can serve at least four people and costs a real bargain.
