With many branches in Egypt, Batates & Zalabeya offers fast snacks — mainly potato and ‘zalabeya’ (a kind of a dessert made by deep frying flour batter in circular shapes then soaking in syrup). The zalabeya is available with different toppings including Nutella, strawberry, white chocolate and sugar. It’s so worth the try, especially the one soaked in Nutella.
