Located in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood, Wilder showcases emerging contemporary designers from a variety of categories, including furniture, lighting, and apparel. With a focus on home design, the shop offers a range of services for projects big and small. Owners Ivy and Josh have backgrounds in dance, film, theater, and art, allowing them to utilize their creative talents to spruce up a single room in your home or assist with large scale commercial design projects.

Located in East Nashville, you will find a diverse selection of home goods and gifts at this playful store. Whether it’s art, accessories, lamps, or pillows, you can shop for almost any occasion, both online and at the brick-and-mortar location.

3. Providence Interiors

Specializing in residential interior design, this retail store and studio is located in the Green Hills neighborhood. Design services include an initial consultation, followed by recommendations on paint colors, fabrics, window treatments, and furniture arrangements, customized to each client’s taste. The store sells lighting, candles, seasonal decorations, upholstery, and antiques. From small home makeovers, to major renovations, Providence can help make your house look and feel more like a home.

5. ReFresh Home

Both a retail home furnishings store and interior design service, Kara Blalock started this Franklin shop. She wanted to model a market setting for customers and styled the store in a way that wasn’t overwhelming for shoppers but gave them ideas on how to use the products in their homes. The goal is for customers to leave feeling inspired and excited about home design and decorating. ReFresh has two designers who can be hired to work on any rooms in any home.

6. Redo Home + Design

This shop’s brick-and-mortar showroom is located in Nashville’s Design District. Products found at the store are hand selected from brands that use sustainable production practices. For customers who are seeking design assistance, the showroom offers free services by in-house designer Samantha Stein. Otherwise, shop for home furnishings locally or via the online shop.

7. D. Luxe Home

In partnership with residential design firm Bynum Design, this “born by accident” shop has everything from artwork and lighting fixtures, to furniture and gifts. Part retail store and part full-service design firm, the D. Luxe team works with clients to create custom projects for residential interiors and exteriors. Whether you’re renovating or starting a design from scratch, the firm can get you taken care of.

Scott Schimmel and Lisa Sorensen started the Bliss family of stores in Knoxville, Tennessee back in 2003. After opening two subsequent locations in the Knoxville area, the first Nashville location was opened in 2014. The shop sells contemporary home furnishings, art, and accessories. The Bliss design team can assist customers with planning, purchasing, and product placement for home renovation projects and has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, Nashville Scene, and on Design*Sponge.
