Practice your bartering skills here, as many of the vendors will try to take advantage of foreigners and jack up their prices.

There are plenty of vendors selling accessories and bags at Chatuchak Weekend Market — not all of them are created equal, however, and you should be wary of purchasing the first stylish bag you find. Some claim to be handmade and high quality when in reality they are mass produced and found at plenty of other vendors throughout the market. Sections 24 and 26 is where you will find bags handcrafted in the north of Thailand, which claim to have been handmade by hill-tribes in Isaan. To get here, take the BTS Skytrain to stop Mochit and take exits one or three. You can also take the MRT Subway to Chatuchak Park, exit one.
