A Guide To Shopping At Terminal 21

Rome, Paris, Tokyo: these are just a few of the cities you will visit just by making one trip to Terminal 21. This mall, if you can even deem it as such, opened in 2011. Since then, it has been every shopper’s paradise, both for locals and travelers alike. It has everything you could possibly need, from discounted clothes to luxury brands and Western restaurants intermixed with amazing Thai food. This airport-inspired mall is broken up into different cities, and with over 600 shops and more than 50 restaurants and cafés, its sheer size can be intimidating. Visitors are greeted by one of Bangkok’s largest escalators when they first arrive, with so many cities to choose from. We are breaking down Terminal 21 so you are free to shop without a care in the world. Here, a guide to shopping at Terminal 21.

Level B

All you will find down here is a small florist and UPS store. Unless you have packages to send, go ahead and start out in the Caribbean.

LG Caribbean

Level G Rome

This floor consists almost entirely of high-end clothing stores, including Jaspal, Guess, and Fox. This is the floor to visit if you need to exchange money or visit the help desk, where you can get free wifi with a form of identification. You can also find some shops selling their goods vendor style, but indoors.

Level M Paris

Get beautified on this floor with Mac, The Body Shop, and other spa-inspired stores. You can also find Victoria’s Secret and H & M in Paris. There is also an information and exchange booth on this floor. Be sure to check out one of the largest escalators you will ever see in Paris, taking you all the way to Istanbul (level three). We will be there soon enough.

Level 1 Tokyo

The store Richochet has some of the best clothing in the entire mall, with usually some sort of sale going on. If you are shopping for women’s clothing, this is definitely the floor to explore. You can also find lingerie on this floor. Be sure to weave in and out of Tokyo’s streets to find the best deals.

Level 2 London

This floor is catered to men, and you will find many men’s clothing stores here. It also has some athletic stores, including Sports World, Hoops, and Bratpack. This floor also has the most interesting décor, with a giant double-decker bus separating rows upon rows of stores.

Level 3 Istanbul

This floor is definitely the most random of the entire mall. Bags, shoes, stuffed animals, games: feel free to explore this floor in its entirety just to see what it is that is sold here. This random assortment of shops, in combination with the Middle Eastern décor, is one of our favorite cities in Terminal 21.

Level 4 San Francisco

Indulge your sweet tooth at Cold Stone, chow down on bottomless chips at Sunrise Taco, or be adventurous and try Hachiban Ramen 8 delicious noodle dishes, all in San Francisco. San Francisco is the largest city in the mall, taking up both the fourth and fifth floors.

Top Floor Pier 21 Bangkok

Pier 21 is one of the best food courts in Bangkok, found on the very top floor of Terminal 21. With so many stalls to choose from, do not be surprised if you have a meal or two (or three). On this same floor, you will find Terminal 21’s movie theater, showing the newest Western films along with Thai movies.
