After landing in Rio de Janeiro, you’ll explore the best of the city, including one of the modern wonders of the world, the Christ the Redeemer statue and you’ll also take the cable car up to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain for stunning city views.

While there, you’ll also have the chance to have a carnival experience, explore Tijuca Forest and go to the world-famous Maracana stadium where you could even soak up the electric atmosphere of a Flamengo match.

From Rio, you’ll fly south to visit one of the most amazing natural sights in the world, Iguazu Falls, the planet’s largest waterfall system, and also home to some amazing wildlife, including butterflies, coatis, capybara and toucans. On arrival, you’ll first pay a visit to the local bird park, where you can get up close to hundreds of species, including parrots and flamingos, while the hummingbird garden is filled with its namesake, flitting between the flowers and drinking nectar. The next day will be spent exploring the Argentinian side of the falls, while the Brazilian side will be covered the day after, ensuring that each and every amazing glimpse of the waterfalls is covered.

After getting in touch with your wild side, you’ll jet off to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, and explore its famous neighbourhoods, including San Telmo and La Boca before taking in a dinner and tango show. There will also be an opportunity for you to visit a ranch to learn about gauchos and horse riding, or to have an asado barbecue experience, complete with Argentinian wines.

From there you’ll head home or onto your next destination, safe in the knowledge that you’ve seen the very best of these two amazing countries.
