Perhaps the most highly rated hotel in town, the lux Posada de la Laguna is a hit for its tastefully decorated rooms, stylish gaucho inspired decor and picturesque outdoor pool. Although admittedly quite expensive, two daily excursions are included in the rack rate and the in-house restaurant is divine.
Another superb upmarket option, Ñande Retá is situated in a lush garden complex surrounded by tall pine trees which, despite being in the middle of town, still manages to feel miles away from civilization.
