Australian hospitality heavyweight Merivale has launched its new Merivale at Home service, serving both food and drinks for a perfect night in. Its online bottle shop claims to have “the best bartenders in the world” mixing up aperitif and cocktail kits, including the margarita box, Aperol spritz box, Fred’s old fashioned and Bert’s martini. Get it delivered with either fresh produce boxes or cook-at-home meals prepared by its Sydney-based restaurants, including Mr Wong, Fred’s and Totti’s.

Brisbane bar Maker has teamed up with its sister venue Gauge to deliver cocktails and food to your door. The impressive menu includes a bergamot and yuzu gin sour, pineapple and cinnamon mai tai, chocolate and caramelised banana old fashioned, smokey old fashioned and negroni. Each bottle is enough for two servings, and you can pair your cocktails with an order of potato and thyme focaccia, green olives or smoked eggplant with rocket pesto and basil.

5. Blue Kahunas

This tropical rum bar has opened its virtual doors and is delivering colourful cocktails to the people of Newcastle in New South Wales. The beach-town bar will make and bottle up tiki-inspired options such as the rum-based OFTD mai tai, the zombie, the coco espresso mixed with vodka, or the missionary’s arousal, made with gin.
