Beaches Restaurant and Bar is located on the Vancouver Waterfront with beautiful views of the Columbia River. If you’re looking to have a casual, enjoyable meal with lovely surroundings, it’s one of the best places to go. Their menu includes an eclectic variety of treats, including burgers, pizza, sandwiches, seafood, steak and vegetarian options. They also have a location at the airport in Portland, Oregon. One of the best things about the restaurant is their community involvement in Vancouver. In 2011, they reached the goal of giving $1,000,000 to basic needs and education programs for children. 2. Willem’s On Main

Like the name suggests, Willem’s On Main is located on Main Street, in the heart of downtown Vancouver. They offer traditional Northwest cooking with a European twist. The chef of the restaurant, Paul Klitsie, is a native of The Netherlands. The restaurant is most known for its breakfast and brunch, during which they serve some of the best waffles in town. The atmosphere is cozy with old theater seats as chairs and beautiful handmade tables. They also serve great dishes for dinner, as well as lunch options.

3. Jorge’s Tequila Factory

Jorge’s Tequila Factory is a family-owned Mexican restaurant and grill. It’s located downtown, and they also have two other restaurants in Washington, located in Longview and Mill Plain. It’s one of Vancouver’s best options if you’re looking for friendly service, delicious drinks and spicy meals. They have more than 140 different tequilas and all of their cocktails are made from scratch. Despite the emphasis on tequila, the restaurant welcomes the whole family. Kids can order from their own special menu. As a great addition, the restaurant has TV screen throughout its interior, making it the perfect spot for watching sports.

4. Hudson’s Bar & Grill

Hudson’s is a contemporary restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner on the grounds of Heathman Lodge on Northeast Greenwood Drive. They serve great signature dishes made from the freshest local ingredients, including delicious porcini crusted scallops, black pepper crusted king salmon, and their own seafood stew. 5. Petra House

The owner Issac Dakar had always dreamed of owning his own restaurant, which is how Petra House got its start. The restaurant serves a menu of halal and kosher meat meals. So, in addition to great food, you get an exciting cultural experience. The menu includes gyros, kabob and schwarma, and they also serve falafel vegetarian options. To create the dishes, Issac uses fresh ingredients to recreate recipes that have been passed down to him from his mother. The place also has a great tea selection — try both the Arab tea and the delicious mint tea.

6. Tommy O's Pacific Rim Bistro

One of the best Asian restaurants in Vancouver is Tommy O’s Pacific Rim Bistro. It is located on Washington Street. Their menu includes a fusion of the vibrant and rich flavors of Hawaii, Japan, and Korea. If you love seafood you should try their weekend brunch or their happy hours, which include a full sushi menu. They have a variety of options on their menu, such as macadamia crusted halibut and kona coffee-rubbed flat iron steaks.
