Houston, Texas, is evolving rapidly, and attracting an entirely new breed of tourists and business travelers. No longer simply an oil hub, it’s now one of the business capitals of the US, and growing into something of a juggernaut of Texan culture. As such, there are increasingly varied hotel options, which have extended into the realm of aparthotels. Major chains and independents have worked to carve out their corner of this niche, and we’re here to help you separate the best from the rest.

The Sonesta provides easy access to these and a relaxing space to return to afterwards, with a heated outdoor pool/lounge area, barbecue grill and a business center. The apartments have kitchenettes with tableware and cookware. There’s a complimentary breakfast too so guests don’t have to be entirely separated from the usual vacation perks.

The Hogg Palace sits within a huge warehouse conversion in the Theatre District, with all-encompassing apartments with living rooms, kitchens, dining areas and in-suite laundry, all with a showroom sheen.
