Or opt for the Pirate Jenny, named after a character in The Three Penny Opera written by Bertolt Brecht in Berlin, made with tequila, aperol, grapefruit and lime juice, and topped off with an Austrian sparkling rosé.

Dick and Jane’s is the not-so-well-kept secret of Fort Greene; it’s snug, it’s secure, it’s relaxing. By day it looks almost abandoned, but at night it comes alive. Happy hour cocktails start at $8, and the summer drinks list is varied. Dim lights, exposed brick, and industrial pendant lamps suspended above the bar set the mood. With a diverse crowd and intimate ambiance, you can’t help but get lost in conversation. Needless to say, Dick and Jane’s will turn you into a repeat customer.
