Merchant's House Museum
A glimpse into the lives of a wealthy merchant-class family is put on display in one of the finest examples of domestic architecture from the mid-19th century. A National Historic Landmark, Merchant’s House Museum carries a vast collection of items from the Tredwell family, who lived in the house from 1835-1933. Visitors can explore the collections of furniture, clothing, books, and household items from the Victorian era. Be sure to explore the dresses and fashion accessories belonging to the Tredwell women. Tours are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
