With its “go big or go home” attitude, Las Vegas is a buzzing city often considered the entertainment capital of the world. From nightclubs to bars to restaurants, Sin City offers more than just tasty cocktails, with countless craft beer spots that can be found throughout the city.
Over the past decade or so, Las Vegas has become a fine-dining capital, but along with the increased interest in food comes a greater appreciation for quality drinks including beer.
With a wide range of beers and intriguing twists on bar food, 595 Craft & Kitchen can satisfy more than one appetite. Decorated with wood furniture, the gastropub serves beer from local breweries like Able Baker and CraftHaus, as well as neighboring California brands such as Novo Brazil and Lost Coast. Opened in 2017, the pub serves dishes like beer-brined chicken wings, pulled-pork tacos and a bread pudding of the day. If you’re in the mood for more than just craft beer, 595 also serves cocktails, wines and juices, which are also available during happy hour.
With top-notch bar food and a vast array of brews (and screens), Aces & Ales is one of the most popular places in Las Vegas to have a beer. Here, they take their beer seriously, be it Smog City Sabre-Toothed Squirrel, Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout or Joseph James Who Dis IPA. Designed in earthy colors with marble pieces of furniture, the pub also has a VIP room for private hiring. Stop by for a plate of chicken and waffles or slayer skillet during brunch, or try the buffalo wings and burgers any other time.
The oldest free-standing bar in Clark County, Atomic Liquors has been pouring drinks since 1952. Over the years, it’s been a celebrity hang-out, a dive bar, a film set, a pool hall and more, and a complete renovation several years ago brought new life to the venue. The Atomic is known for its solid beer list, with about 20 brews on tap, from Saugatuck Nitro Blueberry Maple Stout to Busch, as well as a range of beer cocktails.
A spacious indoor-outdoor bar, the Beerhaus is a popular spot to grab a beverage before events at the T-Mobile Arena. It offers over 20 beers on tap at any given time, including local brews from Big Dog’s and Hop Nuts. Those on a budget or with an afternoon to kill can also enjoy the daily happy hour on selected drafts and hot dogs from 2pm to 6pm.
The McMullan family owned bars for generations back in Ireland before moving to Las Vegas, and visitors can taste the authenticity in every sip at McMullan’s Irish Pub. One of the best Irish pubs in Las Vegas, the venue, which was made in Dublin, has a network of rooms decorated like cottages or farmhouses to create a cozy Irish-village vibe. Almost four dozen kinds of beer are complemented by a large whiskey and Scotch menu, as well as tasty Irish food. The vibrant venue is open 24 hours a day and is a great spot if you’re looking to watch a sports game or play video poker.
At PKWY Tavern, the beer is just one of the attractions offering live music and games in an indoor-outdoor setting that feels like a backyard party. With over 250 beers available, the sports bar breaks down its menu by varieties, from amber ale to witbier, including brown ales, both British and imperial. The kitchen serves all-day breakfast and bar food, including fried pickles and beer-poached wings.
With an in-house cicerone, Public House is dedicated to the brew. Its extensive beer menu has 20 IPAs, 10 stouts and an assortment of porters, saisons and helles – as well as craft sodas for the non-drinkers. Situated inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino, the restaurant serves comfort food like burgers, fish and chips and buffalo shrimp, and a variety of other drinks like specialty cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
