It’s no surprise that the people behind Sugar Shack Donuts have decided to base this Halloween-themed donut on a book about a certain boy wizard that has gained and kept fans’ attention for the past 20 years. Throughout October, they are baking up something that will leave every Harry Potter fan lining up for more. This year, it won’t be Thanksgiving or Christmas but the Halloween holiday that has Washingtonians filling out their clothes! They have combined every Potter-themed idea imaginable that one donut could possibly hold, and formed the coolest thing you’re going to taste all Fall. Forget pumpkin-spiced lattes and candy-topped confections, this donut surpasses them all.

Harry Potter’s favourite beverage, butterbeer – the magical elixir of cream soda converged with butterscotch – has been used as a flavor and theme from everything to bubble bath soap to actual beer flavoring and is now in a delectably edible donut form.

But that’s not all that’s going on with the latest display of Sugar Shack’s ingenuity. Inside the white glazed donut with magical stars sprinkled over it, is something any Seeker will be pleased to see. It’s the elusive golden snitch, and the only place it’s flying off to is your stomach! Plopped into a shimmery golden glaze and finished with detailed white fondant wings, this flying Quidditch ball can only be caught at the Sugar Shack for a limited time through October.
