Lose Yourself in San Francisco’s Infinite Mirror Maze

A great, old-school treat that is perfect for adults and children, Magowan’s Infinite Mirror Maze has been delighting and disorienting patrons since 2009.

It’s trippy fun for only a few dollars. There are not many attractions that you can enjoy these days for such a low price (currently, it’s $5 to enter), so it’s worth a visit no matter what your traveling budget might be.

More than 70 mirrors are placed strategically to disorient you right from the get-go. It’s so effective that you’ll have to feel your way around. The lighting and fluorescent colors help add to the confusion, and the attraction even provides plastic gloves so that you don’t leave your mark on the mirrors while navigating through it. Keep your little ones close to you, though, as it can be hard to find them if they wander off! However, don’t worry – there’s only one way in and one way out, so they won’t get too far.

It shouldn’t take you long to find your way around, but you can stay for as long as you like, exploring and having a laugh at your friends and relatives attempting to walk around gracefully while bumping into dead ends.

Situated in sunny San Francisco, the Infinite Mirror Maze has been attracting visitors from far and wide at the famous Pier 39. There’s so much to see and do around the Fisherman’s Wharf area, but do try to visit Magowan’s Infinite Mirror Maze for a brief respite full of fun.

Cinema has treated audiences to some incredible hall-of-mirror scenes in the past, and you’ll no doubt have fun recreating your own scenes when you visit the Infinite Mirror Maze. Most recently, films like John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) and It: Chapter 2 (2019) have featured pivotal scenes in a hall of mirrors. Culture Trip’s pick of the bunch, however, is Bruce Lee’s 1973 classic Enter the Dragon. Hopefully, you’ll have more fun than Lee did, though – he was hunting a dragon-clawed villain at the time!
