You Can Now Stay in an 'Alcatraz' Prison Cell But You'll be Way Too Terrified to Sleep

If your costume collection takes up half your wardrobe, you own more spooky masks that you do hats and you put your Halloween decorations up on October 1st, this experience is for you.

Have you ever wanted to stay the night in an ‘Alcatraz’ prison cell?

For those who’ve seen all the Halloween tricks and treats before, this experience will have you shaking in your boots.

Sleep in a spooky cell

The San Francisco Dungeon is offering horror fans the chance to sleep and eat in a reconstructed Alcatraz cell.

For the slightly scary price of $666, on the 30th or 31st of October you’ll get the chance to sleep exactly like a prisoner would.

The experience is up to four people and includes a spooky bedroom story from a resident of the Dungeon. You’ll then have a ‘not-so-comfortable night’s sleep’ in the ‘Ghosts of Alcatraz’ suite that can be booked through booking.com.

You’ll get a midnight snack and breakfast in your cell

You’ll be provided with Dungeon-themed PJs and will of course be treated to a midnight feast and breakfast in your cell.

It’s the first time the San Francisco Dungeon has given guests the chance to spend the night there. The Dungeon recreates real historical events of the area using actors and immersive theatre, as well as having rides to go on.
