The USS Midway Museum is an amazing adventure for the whole family. Here you can experience life at sea aboard one of America’s longest-serving aircraft carriers. Visit the museum and walk the footsteps of 225,000 Midway sailors who served our country. Guests can also explore more than 60 exhibits with a collection of 29 restored aircraft. The museum provides a self-guided audio tour near rated by Midway sailors. Adventurous guests can participate in one of to flight simulators, where there launched off the flight deck, battle the enemy, and returned safely.

2. Balboa Park

Balboa Park has been around since 1868. Admission is free but some of the park attractions may cost, but no matter where you go you’re guaranteed to have a good time. The park started as 1400 acres of land known as ‘City Park’. The first steps in the parks beautification were made in 1892. In 2001 San Diego Natural History Museum opened after reconstruction to the original building. Today the park has 19 amazing museums, nine performing arts, nine attractions, 19 beautiful gardens, 11 recreations, five play areas, and 14 delicious restaurants.

Old Town San Diego State Historic Park provides a connection to the past and allows visitors to experience the history of early San Diego. Visit the park and learn about the life in Mexican and early American periods of 1821 to 1872. The part provides fun, as well as fun facts, so take your family and friends and learn about what happened after the Mexican-American war. This historic park also has five original adobe buildings, including museums, retail shops, and restaurants. The Historic Plaza is a special place for meetings and historic activities.
