Boulevard Park is a historic residential neighborhood in Sacramento, named by developers while transitioning the area from the Union Race Track to a ‘well-to-do’ neighborhood. When the racetrack moved, the area was turned into a residential area lined with Colonial Revival homes. The name Boulevard Park refers to the distinctive grassy strip on 21st and 22nd streets. These are the best bars to go for a drink in the area.

Sandra Dee first started experimenting in the kitchen at the age of nine, and learned the art of cooking that goes back generations in her family. Her grandmother and mother let her help them when they were cooking. She witnessed the care put in the preparation of their dishes and quickly began to create her own recipes and personalize her cooking style. She now owns her own restaurant where she shares her unique creations and authentic Creole dishes passed down through the generations. Don’t fill up on food though, because Sandra Dee’s also serves a variety of great signature drinks.
