The 10 Best Restaurants In Highland Park, California

Alex Ceja

Highland Park has grown to be a creative center due to the high influx of young artists and students in the small Los Angeles community. The increased traffic has created space for new restaurants while also increasing the popularity of places that have been there for years. Whether you want sit-down service, takeout or street food, Highland Park has it all.

Fusion Burgers prides itself on being local and family-owned. Serving gourmet burgers, Fusion Burgers takes flavors from all over the world to create their own. Though they do have a classic hamburger on their menu, many will want to try one of their more innovative creations such as The Noir Burger: aillade, boschetto and pinot noir sauce. There is a juicy burger on the menu for everyone.

Monte 52

Hidden on the side streets of Highland Park is La Tropicana Market, a grocery, mini mart and liquor store. At the back of this market is Monte 52, a counter space where sandwiches, both hot and cold, are plenty. This is a deli sandwich place with variety, seeing as they also have tortas on the menu (beans, spicy salsa and your choice of meat in a Spanish baguette) alongside the classic BLT and Italian sub. To go along with the sandwiches they have soups, salads and french fries made to order.
