In Havana, tours provided by local guides are still very popular. With an increase in visitors to Cuba the last few years, a variety of tour packages have emerged to help make the best of a vacation to the charming city.

Cycling is an excellent, healthy way to explore a city. RutaBikes has five years of experience helping tourists discover Havana on wheels. In addition to bike rentals, they offer three daily tours: the Classic City Tour, the Bay City Tour (both starting at 8 a.m.), and the Sunset City Tour (starting at 3 p.m). Tours last up to five and a half hours and are led by English-speaking guides. Prices range from $30 to $40, with discounts for students and children.

NosotrosCubaneamos offers tours tailored to meet the visitors’ time availability. The main options are a short tour of the city starting at 5:00 p.m., and an eight-hour tour starting at 9:30 a.m. Prices start at around $25. Prices can get as low as $15 per person in groups of five people or more. Tours are free for children under the age of 15. NosotrosCubaneamos mostly provides walking tours of the city but covers longer distances by car. Travelers who like NosotrosCubaneamos’ Facebook page have the opportunity to win a free tour.
