Montreal is home to countless yoga studios that provide a variety of approaches to and styles of practice. Often important gathering points of their respective neighborhoods, the city’s yoga studios also offer special events and community classes that promote mind-body integration. Here are just some of the best yoga studios in Montreal.

Naada Yoga

From restorative classes to Moms & Dad’s Yoga, Vinyasa classes to prenatal yoga, Naada Yoga offers a variety of classes and teacher training in the Mile End community. There are also donation-based meditation and sound yoga classes, along with their signature two-hour Naada Live class, which combines different elements from their other styles and also focuses on breath and sound work.

Ensō Yoga

Ensō offers 60 different hot yoga classes per week, for beginners through to advanced practitioners. The classes range from Flow, Barre, Yin, Yang & Yin, Mat Pilates, Barre Flow, Hot Lunch, Power Flow, Hot Flow Community (which is $10/class), and a beginner workshop.

With various locations across Montreal, including downtown, NDG, and the West Island, Moksha Yoga offers traditional Moksha-style classes (which involve 40 poses in a heated room). Classes include Moksha Flow, Moksha Level 2, Power Flow (advanced cardio yoga), Power Flow 2, Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, Karma classes (a reduced-fee class of which the proceeds go to charity), and community classes (another reduced-fee class—taught by teachers who are in training). They also host outdoor yoga during the summer months.

Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga is always an intense workout, challenging for beginners and advanced yogis alike. The Bikram chain in Montreal has various locations, including on Laurier in the Plateau/Mile End neighborhood. For each 90-minute session, the room’s temperature is a hot 42°C (107.6°F)—so be prepared to sweat and stretch your physical stamina!

Yoga Lounge

Aloha Yoga

Aloha Yoga has two locations north of downtown Montreal, in Ahuntsic and Rosemont.
