Once home to European migrants, St. Clair West has become a multicultural hub, north of the hustle and bustle of the downtown core. Although remnants of its migrant roots still adorn its streets through small, family-run bakeries, markets and boutique shops, St. Clair has undergone quite the transformation in the last few years. Thanks to the (relatively) newly developed streetcar tracks, the St. Clair West strip is not only easily accessible for commuters; but car-friendly, with several parking lots and street parking.
