Marco and Sissi moved to Israel from Italy with the desire to bring Italian authenticity to the Tel Aviv gelato market. Not only does Arte Glidaria make and sell their own gelato, using their secret recipes that create the perfect balance between the ingredients for the perfect flavor, but they also link their art with other artists in the area. The trendy ice cream parlor hosts temporary exhibits of local artists – displaying their photos, drawings and paintings and invite different local musicians to play every week. Arte is the neighborhood spot for friends, strangers, and music lovers to come together, eat Italian gelato, and listen to good jazz every Thursday night on the cobblestones of Nachalat Binyamin. They have had the honor to host some outstanding musicians, well known in the Tel Aviv jazz scene, including Ari Roland on the contrabass, Yaala Ballin on vocals, Jess Koren on the saxophone and Gasper Bertoncelj on the drums.
