Visits to Silverstone usually take place at top gear. There’s F1 racing to watch, track days to experience and a 2,000sqm (21,527sqft) interactive museum to explore. Fortunately, there are plenty of hotels nearby that can help you slow down at the end of the day. Lake views, spa sessions and dips in freestanding baths are all on the cards when you stay close to the circuit. Here’s our selection of the best places to book through Culture Trip:

Every one of the chalet-style rooms comes with a veranda that looks out over the 18th hole. You can take in the views from the hotel’s roomy beer garden, too.
