It is one of the largest art, craft and design galleries in the United Kingdom. Set in a Victorian-era warehouse, the art here contrasts with the location, making the display of work even more appealing. The gallery hosts around four exhibitions every year, featuring a few hundred individual pieces each time.

The owners had heard concerns for the future of children’s literature, so decided to give back to the community by creating a shelter for all these wonderful tales and narratives.
