The George and Pilgrim Hotel houses the oldest purpose-built pub in the southwest of England. The site dates back to the 15th century and still has some of its original features, such as old oak beams, mullion windows and a panelled stone frontage. The George and Pilgrim has 14 well-decorated, atmospheric rooms, but the hotel’s main draws are its historic pub and its prime location.
