With a romantic, turreted exterior and an interior filled with historical artefacts, Knebworth House, near Stevenage, is a fantastic day out.

If this stately home looks familiar, it’s probably because it’s been a filming location for a slew of movies – The King’s Speech, Nanny McPhee and Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, to name a few.
