Everywhere you look, you’ll see a city filled with exquisite architecture that exudes a history and tradition many other English and European cities would covet. Renowned for its strange rituals and quintessentially English riverside, Cambridge is a city of tightly-packed ancient colleges, green meadows and fabulous coffee shops.
Best thing about the place? The whole city seems unchanged for centuries. You can wander around (for a price, of course) college buildings and experience them as countless world-renowned prime ministers, across, poets, writers, scientists and sportsmen have done. Foreboding in many ways, the city is a maxi poster for academic achievement: cyclists loaded with books, students conked out on pretty lawns and the next Einstein’s and Virginia Woolf’s debating life in historic pubs, bars and restaurants. Oh, and let’s not forget the punters. They’re just as bright-minded too. With such splendid surroundings, it’s no wonder we decided to put some of the city’s best Instagrammers together and go on a walking tour of the city. Here’s what went on.
