A firm staple of Birmingham’s vegetarian food scene is The Warehouse Café, situated on Allison Street in Digbeth. The award-winning restaurant is fully licensed and serves a range of vegan beers and wines on top of the mouth-watering dishes they proudly dish up, including gluten free and vegan options. This eatery also acts as your one-stop shop for the freshest organic fruit & vegetables, gluten-free pasta, supplements, raw chocolate and chemical free cleaning products. Natural Healthy Foods also have a shop at the aforementioned Warehouse Café in Digbeth.

6. Shambhala Village

Restaurant, Indian

Quite possibly the most versatile of the lot, Shambhala Village offers cuisine across a number of different cultures, ranging from Indian and Mexican to Italian. All items on their menu are vegetarian, so if you’re one of those ‘indecisive types’ when it comes to eating out, this a restaurant you’ll want to visit pretty sharpish. Shambhala Village is situated on the Soho Road in Handsworth; one of the most multicultural areas of Birmingham.
