The Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image will announce its winners on November 29, 2016, and the shortlist is spectacular.
The yearly photographic contest and exhibition recognises the very best images of yacht racing taken during the year, with the aim to showcase the thrill of the sport. It is a global event open to all professional yacht racing photographers and has three awards up for grabs.

The ‘Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image’ is the main prize and is awarded by a panel of international specialists from yachting and photography.

The ‘Yacht Racing Forum Award’ is decided by the 700 delegates of World Sailing’s Annual conference as well as by the 300 delegates of the Yacht Racing Forum. And finally, the ‘public prize’ is selected by the number of popular votes on Internet.

The variety of entries is astounding and a brilliant insight into the power, fear and beauty that professional yachting can produce.
