A new restaurant in Amsterdam takes avocado appreciation to a whole new level.

The Avocado Show

Restaurant, European, Healthy, Vegetarian

For the past few years, the avocado craze has been gaining serious traction in the Netherlands, and many restaurants in Amsterdam have adapted their menus around their clientele’s growing need for dishes that feature the super cool green fruit. And so it was only a matter of time before an avocado-based restaurant opened.

The Avocado Show in Daniël Stalpertstraat 61, uses only sustainable and socially responsible avocados from Eat Me, produced by Nature’s Pride. The menu meanwhile features firm favorites, such as avocado on toast, alongside more innovative creations such as The Burger Bun, where the avocado replaces the bread, and an avocado and chocolate smoothie.

Clearly, the team behind the restaurant know their audience and have decided to set up shop in Amsterdam’s De Pijp district – an extremely trendy neighborhood that is particularly popular among foodies.

The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner service, as well as take-out, and make sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for more information on The Avocado Show’s gloriously green menu.
