Les Armures

Just a few paces from the gorgeous cathedral, Les Armures is perfectly located in the very heart of the Old Town. The building itself fits in well with its historic surroundings, with the current structure dating back to the 17th century, although it can trace its origins right back to the 13th. Over the course of the centuries, it has been owned by a number of counts, bishops and aristocratic families of Geneva and is now personally run by the Borgeat-Granges family.

Hôtel Bel’Espérance

Just a couple of roads from the buzzing Place du Bourg-de-Four, Hôtel Bel’Espérance offers a modest yet comfortable stay in a charming, simple setting. It has an interesting history, originally being a women’s hostel run by the Salvation Army and although it was renovated in 1996, it still retains much of its historic charm as well as its Christian-inspired, welcoming attitude. It also offers lovely views of the city from its rooms, thanks to its superb location, not to mention a great breakfast spread.
