What better after a hard night’s clubbing than soaking tired limbs in a whirlpool tub or relaxing into a deep tissue massage? We have scoured Ibiza for the hotels with the best spa facilities and treatments for those looking for some serious pampering time during their next trip to the White Isle. Here are our favourites, all bookable with Culture Trip.

Hotel Mim Ibiza Es Vive

Redesigned by celebrated British decorator Sean Cochrane in 2014, this adults-only boutique hotel offers several ways in which to disconnect, including a secluded terrace with a steam room, Finnish sauna and jacuzzi, a hydrotherapy circuit and massages and treatments. When suitably relaxed, snag a white leather lounger at the rooftop Sky Bar, kick back with a cocktail and enjoy the beats and sunset. Continue the party vibe in Ibiza’s Old Town, located less than a 10-minute walk away.

Cas Gasi Boutique Hotel

Surrounded by pine forests, olive and orange groves in the centre of Ibiza, far from the partying crowds, the Cas Gasi boutique hotel is ideal for a rejuvenating spa break. Start the day by joining the free yoga classes held every morning at 8.30am before indulging in one of the hotel’s pampering packages, which include manicures, pedicures, private yoga sessions and tasting lunch menus. The rooms, suites and two villas are set in a romantic garden blooming with fig, carob and almond trees.

7Pines Kempinski Ibiza

The spa at Kempinski’s five-star 7Pines is almost a resort in itself, offering six treatment rooms, two saunas, indoor and outdoor relaxation areas and an ice cave. Wellness retreats, ranging from two to six days, feature everything from guided activities with personal trainers and nutrition sessions to massages and acupuncture treatments. Outdoor activities include quad biking, running and cliff diving. The suites and villas, awash with white and turquoise and dreamy views of the sea or gardens, are a treat to return to at the end of the day.

Aguas de Ibiza

Natural stone and crisp Balearic whites combine with sleek, contemporary styling and a super-chill vibe to make eco-friendly Aguas de Ibiza one of the island’s five-star favourites. Its 1,500sqm (16,145sqft) Revival Spa oozes luxury, with an impressive choice of treatments and facilities. Holistic therapies use local natural products wherever possible and there’s a range of Clarins facial and body treatments. Low-lit and serene, the day beds and hydrotherapy pool make you feel relaxed just looking at them, while the shimmering gold hammam is pure glitz.

Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa

The centrepiece of the five-star Grand Palladium White Island hotel is its luxe Zentropia spa, one of the best-equipped on the island. This sleek, minimalist haven features an enticingly long pool and an impressive spa circuit with water jets, hydromassage, jacuzzi and bubble beds. There is also a sauna and Turkish baths, plus treatment rooms and a premium suite where couples can have a spa experience together. The large outdoor lagoon pool area is calm and relaxing and has numerous waterfalls and jets, as well as ergonomic loungers that are partially submerged in the water.

Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel

Who says spas need to be tucked away? The open-air spa at the swish Atzaró Agroturismo hotel is a wonderful outside space set in tranquil gardens scented with orange groves. Updated in 2018 with a natural luxury theme, the spa takes the form of a Balinese temple positioned at the end of a stunning long pool lined with day beds and manicured lawns. As well as the obligatory range of beauty treatments, massages and rituals performed in teak treatment cabins, there is a fitness club with a fully-equipped gym, yoga classes, sauna and hammam. After your spa experience, you can relax on a day bed with a fresh juice and soak up the beautiful surroundings.

Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay

The Nobu hotel Ibiza Bay is the height of boho-luxe, and its small spa by Six Senses is in keeping with that feel. Massages and treatments take place in a cabana overlooking the sea or in stunning wood-panelled treatment rooms, while the nail bar and John Frieda blow-dry salon ensure you are groomed to perfection for the evening ahead. The gym isn’t huge but it’s fairly well equipped and there are regular yoga and pilates classes. This is a fantastic place to treat yourself (or someone else) to a delicious lunch and a relaxing spa session.

Ca Na Xica

Surrounded by sun-soaked fields in the centre of the island, Ca Na Xica boasts one of the more bucolic and secluded settings. Minimalist Balearic chic meets rustic in this adults-only boutique retreat, which offers a gorgeous chlorine-free swimming pool and a fabulous inside-outside spa offering a range of massages surrounded by olive groves and orchards.

Hacienda Na Xamena

Set into a cliff and surrounded by pine forest, the setting of the Hacienda Na Xamena takes some beating. A series of heated seawater pools linked by tiered waterfalls that appear to cascade down the cliff are the hotel‘s showpiece, and are part of the La Posidonia Spa. As well as featuring stunning views, the eight pools are heated to different levels and provide full-body hydro-jet massages. Each pool session lasts 45 minutes. If it’s a complete spa experience that you’re after, there is a full range of body and facial treatments available, as well as massages and packages that include lunch or dinner.
