The Best Hotels in Zemun, Serbia
Providing welcome respite from the crowds of Belgrade, Zemun makes a perfect day trip from the Serbian capital. Here, we list some of the district’s best hotels – bookable on Culture Trip.
Zemun is a charming, lively district with riverside fish restaurants, Gardoš hill views and ornate churches. Among the landmarks in the area are Zemunski Kej – a promenade along the Danube River with lots of bars and places to eat in summer – and the 19th-century Gardoš Tower on a hilltop with city views. Approximately 8km (5mi) northwest of central Belgrade, Zemun has great public transport connections with all parts of the city and is just 10 minutes by car from the airport. Visitors here will enjoy a quaint ambience completely isolated from the city crowds.
