The elegant and classy interior is created by crystal chandeliers, tables covered with crisp white tablecloths and padded chairs in cream. The dining room is brightly lit due to large windows, which offer a spectacular view on Helsinki’s seaside. During summer months, you can enjoy dinner in their charming summer garden or on the terrace. The restaurant is known for its crayfish menu and other à la carte dishes.

Ravintola Alia

Alia restaurant is situated in a charming cottage on Mustikkamaa island. The island is connected to Kulosaari with a bridge built in 1964, however traditional boat transport is still common. The cottage was designed by the architect Karl Lindahl in 1921 and built next to the People’s Park on Mustikkamaa. The restaurant offers a spectacular view of the sea and is a beautiful location for different festivities. Among the house specialities are lamb meatballs with cucumber sauce, roasted chicken breast with cabbage and apple salad and smoked trout.

Pyysaari restaurant opened in 1952, during the Helsinki Summer Olympic Games. The restaurant is located on a small island next to Kulosaari and is open during summer months from May to late September. Situated in a historic building with a charming terrace, Pyysaari is an elegant and relaxing spot overlooking the sea. The traditional menu includes Finnish seafood specialities and international dishes. Try house specialities roasted salmon or herring steak, or indulge in tasty shrimps, salmon salad or onion steak.
