Oma

‘Oma’ means grandmother in Dutch, and this cute brunch place definitely makes you feel like you’re being pampered by your grandmother. The interior has a cozy vintage vibe and the buffet-style brunch is served every weekend at a really affordable price considering the quality of the food. The selection changes every weekend too; so Oma is definitely worth a return trip.

Aux Pays des Merveilles

One of the first places to serve bagels in Brussels, APDM is still on top of the game. As well as that, their brunch is delicious, the desserts are particularly noteworthy and the venue is family-friendly. Saint-Gilles locals have been coming to this address for years.

La Tricoterie

Bar, Pub Grub, Vegetarian
La Tricoterie is more than a good place for brunch; as a self-proclaimed ‘link factory,’ it is a concept aimed at bringing together the community with cultural events, workshops and debates. Every Sunday, they host their famous brunch, where families, friends and any passersby are welcome to join.

Hinterland

Healthy and delicious, Hinterland puts the emphasis on serving quality bioproducts in a hip and creatively designed establishment. The staff is super friendly, and the prices are affordable, proving that Hinterland really does live up to its promise of being an urban refuge.

Chez Franz

Technically just outside the borders of Saint-Gilles, Chez Franz is nevertheless included here because it is simply that good. The brunch is copious and there are plenty of small options that can be ordered on the side so that brunch-goers can choose how large or small their breakfast gets. Truly one of the best brunch options available in Brussels for its quality-to-price ratio, Chez Franz is a must.

Le Dillens

Apart from being one of the most well-loved bars in the neighborhood (in part because of its wonderful terrace), Le Dillens also serves a fabulous brunch which is ideal for those slow, sunny mornings in the summer.
